A Gathering Space that’s a Comfortable Classic…
Delicious Food. Outstanding Service. Gorgeous Outdoor Patio. Relaxed yet upscale bar. Spacious, warm and friendly atmosphere. Did I mention the exceptional wait staff?
What I love about it:
There’s something on the menu for almost everyone, including one of Victoria‘s most delicious burgers! Get the Loaded Burger & Fries and you won’t regret it! Or try the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni, a consistent crowd pleaser.
No matter what you choose, Moxie’s is a perfect place for a date, a meal with family and friends, or if you’re just looking to hang with buddies, grab a beer and catch the game. I love the friendly yet gently upscale atmosphere.
There is also a variety of vegetarian and plant based selections on the menu which are delicious. Try the vegan tacos, they’re my fave!
Accessibility factors:
Ground level entry and main restaurant (with staircase and small upper level seating area for those inclined)
mostly moveable chairs and tables that can be shifted to accommodate a variety of mobility situations
Wheelchair accessible single bathroom
Helpful and accommodating hosts and serving staff
Unfortunately there isn’t an an automatic door opener with push plate at front door but with customers arriving and leaving regularly it hasn’t been an issue yet. Somebody’s always happy to get the door for me.
Also I want to mention to my readers who use mobility devices, I was there for lunch the other day with a friend and there were four individuals, including myself, using a variety of mobility aides. A large power chair, a mobility scooter, a walker and crutches were all being utilized. It was wonderful to be in such an inclusive and accommodating environment! Everybody wins!

Moxie’s hits it out of the park for this Girl About Town: accessible space (and bathroom), great food and excellent service.
